Day 3 – An Impromptu Tour Of Luray

Today’s Blog Entry

Our original plan for today was to hike up to Kennedy Peak near Massanutten Mountain, but neither of us were happy with the worsening weather along the ridgeline or the rather sketchy parking situation so we decided to tour the small town of Luray instead. We walked a couple of miles along their Hawksbill Greenway Trail, wandered Main Street, and had a hot lunch at the Ollie Cat Cafe before heading back to camp for a quiet afternoon and an evening by the campfire.
